Science/Math
What could we do to save the underwater wildlife?
Are there animals that are highly endangered?
How could we influence those around us to get involved?
Has society contributed to the endangerment of these animals?
Are there any kinds of research being done for this?
How can men and women get involved?
What kind of technology is being made for this?
What can diverse cultures do to help?
Are they doing anything to help?
How has pollution affected the safety of underwater animals?
In this exercise from The Curious Researcher, writer Bruce Ballenger challenges us to create an interest inventory. He declares that a lot of students do not show an interest in anything enough to write a paper, but he disagrees with this and so do I. Creating an interest inventory opens the doorways to brainstorming and allows you to ask more questions or build questions off of your thoughts. This also helps to form a primary focus question which is helpful when writing your research paper because it allows you to do primary research on your question. This also helps build a layout or format to follow and list of things one can include in their research paper.
